Match the stove to your room volume, not to the kilowatt figure. Wood stove outputs are measured differently from electric heaters and do not compare — a 16.5 kW stove is not twice an 8 kW electric. The room volume range this stove is rated for is in the specification above. Our heater sizing guide lists the interior volume of every cabin we sell.

Before you order

  • The flue is not included unless this listing says otherwise, and the components are specific to the stove. Settle this before you order rather than after.
  • Clearances are not optional. A wood stove needs the manufacturer's stated distance to combustible surfaces on every side, and a roof or wall penetration for the flue. Check the manual against your cabin before you buy.
  • You need somewhere dry to keep wood, and you need to be the kind of person who enjoys lighting a fire. People who do use their sauna more; people who don't, stop.
  • Stones are usually separate. Where the listing says so, they are required rather than optional.
