What it is
A flexible red light pad measuring 16" by 11", carrying 1,188 LEDs emitting red at 660nm and near-infrared at 850nm, with three diodes per LED.
Because it's flexible rather than rigid, it wraps around whatever it's placed on instead of needing to be aimed from a distance. A 12V car adapter is included alongside the mains supply.
Who it's for
The mid-size pad in the Red Light Pro range. At 16" by 11" it suits a back, a knee, an ankle or an abdomen — larger than a spot device, smaller than a full-length pad. If you want back-and-leg coverage, the 27" × 11" Large Pad is the bigger option; if you want several areas at once, the five-pad kit covers them together.

What's the difference between 660nm and 850nm?
Two different wavelengths of light. 660nm is visible red and is absorbed close to the surface of the skin. 850nm is near-infrared, invisible to the eye, and penetrates further. This pad carries both.
How does a pad compare to a panel?
A panel is rigid and mounted, and works one area at a time from a set distance. A pad is flexible, so it wraps around whatever it's placed on and sits in contact with it. A panel gives you a larger single field; a pad gives you contact coverage on a specific area.
What size should I choose?
This is the mid-size at 16" × 11" with 1,188 LEDs. The Large Pad is 27" × 11" with 1,998 LEDs for backs and legs. The 5-Device Kit includes both plus three smaller pads if you want to cover several areas at once.
Can I use it in the car?
Yes. A 12V vehicle adapter is included, so it runs from a car outlet as well as mains power.
How long is a session?
The pad is set for 15-minute sessions.
