What it is
A red light device that works two ways. As a dome, it arches above your face without touching it. Unclip the acrylic panel and the same LED array becomes a flexible body pad you can wrap around a back, an abdomen or a leg — or lay flat and lie on.
1,998 LEDs across both wavelengths: 666 at 660nm (visible red) and 1,332 at 850nm (near-infrared), three diodes per LED.
Why a dome instead of a mask
A face mask sits directly on the skin. That sounds like closer contact, but it creates two problems: the LEDs are spaced across a curved surface pressed against a curved face, so the light lands unevenly and there are gaps between emitters where nothing reaches.
A dome hovers above the face instead. The distance is what lets the light spread and overlap before it arrives, so the whole surface is covered rather than a grid of bright spots. Nothing is pressed against your skin, which also means nothing to clean off it afterwards.
Two devices, one purchase
| Dome mode | Acrylic panel clipped in, arched above the face. Hands free, nothing in contact with skin. |
|---|---|
| Panel mode | Acrylic panel removed. The array flexes, so it wraps a back, abdomen, thigh or shoulder — or lies flat and you lie on it. |
The panel comes out and goes back in without tools. It's the same 1,998 LEDs either way.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a red light face mask?
A mask sits directly on your skin, which puts a grid of LEDs against a curved face — the light lands unevenly and there are gaps between emitters. The VersaDome arches above the face instead, so the light from each LED spreads and overlaps before it reaches you. Nothing touches your skin.
What is the difference between 660nm and 850nm?
Two wavelengths of light. 660nm is visible red and is absorbed close to the surface of the skin. 850nm is near-infrared, invisible to the eye, and reaches further. This device carries 666 LEDs at 660nm and 1,332 at 850nm — twice as many of the deeper wavelength.
How does it convert to a body panel?
The acrylic panel that holds the dome shape is removable. Take it out and the LED array flexes, so it wraps around a back, abdomen, thigh or shoulder, or lies flat for you to lie on. It goes back in the same way. No tools.
What does "3 diodes per LED" mean?
Each LED housing contains three separate emitting diodes rather than one. It's how the device reaches 1,998 diodes at 27" × 11".
How long is a session?
15 to 20 minutes.
Can I use it hands-free?
In dome mode, yes — it stands over your face on its own. In panel mode it rests on or wraps around the area, so it stays put without being held.
