The FullGlow 360 is a flexible full-body bag rather than a panel. It wraps around you at zero distance with 2,520 LEDs on two wavelengths — 660 nm red and 850 nm near infrared — across a 70 by 31 inch surface.
A bag is a different proposition from a panel
A standing panel puts light on whichever side of you is facing it, from a distance you choose. A bag wraps the emitting surface against you on multiple sides at once, with no standing, no repositioning and no gap.
Neither is an upgrade on the other, and they suit different people. The bag suits someone who wants to lie down. A panel suits someone who wants to target one area at a chosen distance, and panels generally offer more wavelengths.
Three modes
| Mode 1 | Constant light |
|---|---|
| Mode 2 | 10 Hz pulse |
| Mode 3 | 40 Hz pulse |
Pulsed modes switch the array on and off at the stated frequency rather than running it continuously. The timer runs from 10 to 90 minutes in ten-minute steps.
Eye protection is not included.
The manufacturer confirms no protective glasses ship with this product. That is worth knowing before it arrives, particularly if you are comparing it against iReliev's 2400W panel, which does include an eye mask and earplugs.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions on eye safety and source protection separately if you want it.
Irradiance — what we can and can't tell you
We asked iReliev for an irradiance figure and the distance it was measured at. They have supplied full irradiance curves for both of their panels but not for this bag, and we have asked again.
We are not going to estimate it from the panels. A flexible bag resting against the body is not measurable in the same way as a rigid panel at three to eighteen inches, and a number produced by analogy would be a guess wearing the costume of a specification.
When the manufacturer supplies it, with the method, it goes on this page. If a competing bag publishes an irradiance figure without saying how it was measured, that figure deserves the same scepticism.
