What it is
The lie-down version of the Relax portable sauna. Same far infrared technology as the seated models, in a full-length horizontal format, with a reflective mat underneath that returns infrared upward instead of losing it into the floor.
Like the seated models it folds away — no assembly, no site prep, no installation.
Why lie down instead of sit up
Two practical reasons, and they're both about the body rather than the sauna.
- You can stretch out. A seated enclosure holds you upright with your legs folded. The Flex lets you lie flat, which for a lot of people is simply the more comfortable twenty minutes.
- Even coverage front and back. Lying on the reflective mat means infrared reaches you from below as well as around, rather than only from the sides.
It's a format preference, not a performance upgrade — the Silver Elite is the same price in a seated design. Choose on how you'd rather spend the session, and on floor space: the Flex needs room to lie down.

Lie down or sit up — they're the same price, so which?
Comfort and floor space. Lying flat is the more comfortable position for most people over twenty minutes, and the reflective mat means infrared reaches you from below as well as around. A seated enclosure has a smaller footprint. Neither is more effective than the other.
What does the reflective mat do?
It sits underneath you and returns far infrared upward rather than letting it pass into the floor. In a seated model the enclosure does that job around you; lying down, the mat does it beneath you.
Do I need to assemble it?
No. It unfolds for use and folds back down for storage. There's no site prep, no foundation and no installation.
How much floor space does it need?
Enough to lie down full length, plus room to get in and out. That's the main practical difference from the seated models.
