Cal Saunas SOLARA-2 — 2-Person Indoor Infrared Sauna
The SOLARA-2 is a two-person indoor infrared cabin built from Canadian Hemlock, with nine carbon heaters, double-walled construction and a glass door. It runs on 120V rather than the 240V service most cabins this size require — a materially smaller electrical job, though it still needs a dedicated circuit of its own.
It is designed for a spare room, a finished basement, a home gym or a large bathroom. Exterior footprint is 47" wide by 39" deep, and it stands 75" tall.
Who it's for
Two adults seated, or one person lying back. Indoor use only — the warranty is void if an indoor model is installed or operated outdoors. If you are putting a sauna outside, you want the SOLARA Outdoor instead.

What's not included
- Electrical work. The dedicated circuit is your responsibility and is not part of the purchase.
- Assembly. Delivery is curbside; the carrier will not assemble the sauna.
- Inside delivery, unless you arrange it with us before ordering.
- Floor mat, backrest and red light therapy accessories are sold separately.
Electrical requirements — read before ordering
The SOLARA-2 requires a dedicated 15-amp 120V circuit with nothing else connected to it, wired to a minimum of 12 AWG.
Extension cords and surge protectors are prohibited. Sharing the circuit with other appliances is not permitted. If you do not already have an independent circuit at the install location, the manufacturer recommends having an electrician run one.
The 120V requirement is the real advantage here — most cabins of this size need 240V service. It is a smaller job, not the absence of a job. If you're unsure what you have, send us a photo of your panel and we will tell you before you buy.
Delivery
Ships by freight from the manufacturer's warehouse in Pomona, California.

Delivery is curbside. The carrier brings the pallet to the end of your driveway and leaves it there. They do not carry it inside, unpack it, or assemble it. Have a clear path from the curb and people available on delivery day.
Inside delivery and assembly are available on request. We arrange a white-glove carrier to collect from the Pomona warehouse and deliver into the room you choose. Ask us before ordering and we will quote it.
We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii or US territories — freight class 175 to those destinations runs several times the lower-48 rate.
Assembly and site prep
A minimum of two people is required. Panels weigh 40–60 lb each. Assembling alone is prohibited by the manufacturer.
You will need roughly 10 feet by 10 feet of clear floor space to unpack and lay out the panels before assembly.
The sauna must sit on a level, solid indoor floor. The manufacturer does not publish an assembly time.
Warranty
One year, administered by Lloyd's Material Supply Company, Inc., which distributes Cal Sauna-branded saunas. Coverage begins on the delivery date, and no later than 90 days after arrival.
Covers structural components (wall panel balance and locking), electrical (power unit and control panel), the carbon infrared heaters and circuit board, and accessories including LED lighting and audio.
Parts only. Freight, labor, diagnostic and travel fees are not covered.
The warranty is void if:
- The sauna is used commercially — this explicitly includes Airbnb, Vrbo, Sonder and Plum Guide, hotels, inns, cottages, hostels, and public or members-only gyms. A private single-family home gym is permitted.
- An indoor model is placed, installed or operated outdoors.
- It is installed on uneven ground.
- It is repaired by anyone other than an authorised technician, or with non-genuine parts.
- Damage results from acts of nature, including animal and rodent damage.
To make a claim, contact us. We locate a repair technician in your area and coordinate the claim with the manufacturer.
Returns — please read before ordering
There are no returns once the sauna has shipped.
Payment is taken before shipment, and the sauna ships within 24 to 48 hours of payment clearing. In practice that gives you a cancellation window of roughly one to two days from placing the order.
If you need longer — to measure the space, confirm your circuit, or arrange help for delivery day — tell us and we will hold the order rather than release it to the warehouse. We would far rather answer your questions before the crate is on a truck than after.
