What it is
The Blisspod Vienna is a two-person far infrared sauna built from solid Canadian hemlock. Four carbon far-infrared heaters sit behind the back, along both sides, and beneath the bench. It runs on a dedicated 15-amp 120-volt circuit and reaches up to 140°F.
Infrared saunas heat differently from traditional ones. Rather than warming the air with a stove and rocks, radiant panels warm your body directly — so the cabin runs cooler, comes up to temperature faster, and there is no water, steam or humidity involved.
Who it's for
One or two people, in a spare room, basement or large bathroom. At 47.2" wide and 35.4" deep it fits a compact footprint, and it draws 15 amps — the lightest electrical requirement of the Blisspod line, though at 1800W that is the full rating of a 15-amp circuit, so it needs one of its own.
Suitable for indoor installation or a fully sheltered outdoor space such as a covered porch. It is not built for open-air exposure.

What's not included
- Electrical work. Blisspod specifies a certified electrician for the wiring and circuit breaker test.
- Assembly labor
- Inside delivery or placement
- Accessories shown in photographs
Delivery
Ships free in two boxes by freight carrier, delivered curbside. The carrier does not bring it inside or assemble it. Someone must be present to receive and sign.
Inspect both boxes before signing the delivery receipt. Photograph them on arrival, note any damage on the receipt before you sign, and contact us within 48 hours with the photographs.
Assembly
The Vienna uses a quick-assembly panel system and goes together without specialist tools. Plan on two people — the wall panels are solid hemlock and awkward to handle alone. Assemble it in its final position.
Warranty and support
3 years on the wood structure. 1 year on heating elements and electrical components.
If you need to make a claim, contact us at support@homemedspa.com and we will open and manage it with the manufacturer on your behalf. See our Return & Refund Policy for return terms.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between an infrared sauna and a traditional one?
A traditional sauna heats the air with a stove and rocks, typically running 160–200°F, and you pour water over the rocks for steam. An infrared sauna warms your body directly with radiant panels and runs cooler — the Vienna reaches up to 140°F. There is no stove, no rocks, and no water.
What electrical work does it need?
1800W on a 110/120V, 15-amp circuit, wired with 12 AWG copper. Blisspod specifies a certified electrician to do the cabling and test the circuit breaker.
How much space do I need?
The cabin is 47.2" wide, 35.4" deep and 74.8" high. Allow clearance around it for assembly and for the door, which opens outward and is 23.6" wide.
Can I put it outside?
Only in a fully sheltered space such as an enclosed porch or covered patio. It is not built for open-air exposure to rain or weather.
What does "low EMF" mean here?
Electromagnetic field output from the heating elements. Blisspod rates the Vienna's heaters as ultra-low EMF. If a measured figure matters to you, ask us and we'll request it from the manufacturer.
How long does assembly take?
It uses a quick-assembly panel system and needs no specialist tools. Plan on two people and assemble it where it will stay.
