What it is
A mobile red light device on a counterbalanced articulating arm, with a tri-panel head carrying 900 high-output LEDs. The arm holds its position wherever you leave it, so the head can be brought over a table, angled at a seated client, or raised to standing height without anyone holding it.
It rolls on a weighted five-caster base with locking wheels, which is what lets it move between rooms and then stay put.
Who it's for
Med-spas, recovery studios and clinics running back-to-back sessions. The articulating arm is the reason: a fixed panel makes the client move to the light, and this brings the light to the client. For home use, a wall-mounted or freestanding panel does the same work for a fraction of the outlay — the arm, the casters and the tri-panel head are what you're paying for here.

Irradiance figures are only meaningful with a distance attached — light falls off sharply as you move away from the source. 110 mW/cm² is measured at 5.9 inches, and it will be lower further out.

What the arm actually changes
A freestanding panel fixes the light and moves the person. On an articulating arm the head goes where it's needed and stays there without being held:
- Over a treatment table — the head comes across horizontally above a client lying down
- At a seated client — angled at face height without a stand in the way
- Standing height — the arm reaches to 74.8"
- Between rooms — the whole unit rolls, then the casters lock
Counterbalanced means the arm carries the head's weight itself. You position it with one hand and it holds.

Frequently asked questions
What does the articulating arm do that a stand doesn't?
It holds the head wherever you put it, without anyone supporting it. The arm is counterbalanced, so it carries the head's weight itself — you position it with one hand and it stays. A freestanding panel is fixed, so the person has to move to the light instead.
What is the difference between the red and near-infrared wavelengths?
Red light at 630nm and 660nm is visible and is absorbed close to the surface of the skin. Near-infrared at 810nm, 830nm and 850nm is invisible to the eye and reaches further. This head emits all five.
What does "110 mW/cm²" mean, and does the distance matter?
It's irradiance — how much light energy reaches a given area of surface. The distance matters enormously, because light falls off sharply as you move away from the source. This figure is measured at 5.9 inches (15 cm) from the head, and it will be lower at greater distances. Any irradiance number quoted without a distance is not comparable to anything.
How much floor space does it need?
The base is 25.6 inches across, and the arm needs clearance to swing and extend. Height adjusts from 47.2 to 74.8 inches. Plan for the arm's reach, not just the base — the whole point of the design is that the head travels away from the column.
How long is a session?
The timer runs from 1 to 20 minutes with auto shut-off, and there are ten intensity levels plus face, joint and full-body position presets.
Is it noisy?
It's fan-cooled, using low-noise fans with deep-fin heat sinks. Any high-output LED head needs active cooling; the deep fins are there so the fans can run slower.
Can it be moved between rooms?
Yes. The base is weighted steel on five casters with locking wheels, and there's a cord wrap. Roll it in, lock the casters, position the arm.
